Gold Rush!

The gold rush is underway in Nebraska’s outdoor scene! Trust me, it is! Take some time out of your busy schedule, stop, look around and view this autumn rush of gold! Here’s a glimpse of what you could see.

In the river bottom woodlands, the cottonwood tree leaves beginning to turn their beautiful fall yellow …

In your favorite park or forest, ash tree leaves now turning bright yellow …

In a patch of sunflowers on the edge of a prairie, a seemingly unlimited number of yellow flowers …

In that prairie, wildlife uses the vivid yellow flowers of pollinator habitat …

On the farm, perhaps on the way to your archery deer hunting stand, the yellow-green sea of color in a soybean field …

In the woods, the yellowing leaves of elm trees partially noshed on by insects …

All things considered, it won’t be long before the brilliance of yellow/gold hues take over Nebraska’s autumn landscape so be prepared grab a camera, get out there and enjoy the scenery of the gold rush! See you out there!
