Enders Reservoir SRA 100-year Extravaganza to celebrate centennial

LINCOLN, Neb. – Enjoy music, barbeque, history and trick shooting at Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area’s 100-year Extravaganza on June 5. The daylong event is part of Nebraska’s state parks centennial celebration. Activities will be located on the north side of the reservoir at Hannibal Hollow and Center Dam. LINCOLN, Neb. – A prescribed fire exercise is scheduled for April 3 at Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area in Chase County. Portions of the SRA will be closed temporarily to public access during the exercise. The Imperial Volunteer Fire Department is conducting the training, along with other area volunteer fire departments, Nebraska State Fire Marshall’s Training Division, Nebraska State Forest Service, and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. NORTH PLATTE, Neb. –  A kid’s day will be held Saturday, June 16 at Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area (SRA) hosted by the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. LINCOLN – Because of a rising lake level following recent rains, the boat ramp at the Center Dam Area of Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area (SRA) can be used for launching small boats and personal watercraft.
