The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will burn tree and brush piles on the west side of Ash Hollow State Historical Park on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The burn will be conducted in conjunction with local fire departments.

LINCOLN, Neb. – The visitor center and cave at Ash Hollow State Historical Park are closed through Oct. 12 due to a staffing shortage. They will reopen at 10 a.m. Oct. 13. The grounds of the historical park will remain open for visitors to enjoy hiking, picnicking, wildlife watching and other activities. Vintage clothing exhibit ‘Enchant’ on display at Ash Hollow SHP

LINCOLN, Neb. – Each Saturday and Sunday in November, guests at Ash Hollow State Historical Park can view a high-end vintage clothing exhibit, “Enchant,” featuring handmade beadwork and embroidery. Game and Parks No Longer Considering Ash Hollow for ATV Park Location

LINCOLN – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is no longer considering Ash Hollow State Historical Park as a site for an all-terrain vehicle park. Ash Hollow was a potential site, and the Commission is undertaking a study to determine the cultural resources of the area for any other potential future uses of the park, including a possible future expansion of a cemetery on park land requested by local citizens.
