Remaining Big Game Permits Available Beginning July 13

LINCOLN – Hunters will be able to purchase remaining Nebraska big game permits beginning July 13.

Starting at 1 p.m. Central Time, Nebraska residents, nonresidents and eligible landowners may purchase remaining deer and antelope permits. In addition, residents and eligible landowners may purchase remaining elk permits.

Permits may be purchased over the counter at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission permitting offices or at OutdoorNebraska.org.

The following are Game and Parks permitting offices: Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, 21502 W. Neb. Hwy. 31, Gretna; Northwest District Office, 299 Husker Road, Alliance; Bassett Service Center, 524 Panzer St., Bassett; Chadron State Park (SP), 15951 U.S. Hwy. 385, Chadron; Fort Robinson SP, 3200 U.S. Hwy. 20, Crawford; Kearney Service Center, 1617 First Ave., Kearney; Lake McConaughy State Recreation Area (SRA), 1475 Neb. Hwy. 61, Ogallala; Niobrara SP, 89261 522 Ave., Niobrara; Northeast District Office, 2201 N. 13th St., Norfolk; Southwest District Office, 301 E. State Farm Road, North Platte; Metro Office, 8495 Frederick St., Omaha; Ponca SP, 88090 Spur 26E, Ponca; Game and Parks Headquarters/Southeast District Office, 2200 N. 33rd St., Lincoln; Wildcat Hills SRA, 210615 Neb. Hwy. 71, Gering.

As big game seasons approach, hunters will be able to monitor the number of remaining permits by visiting OutdoorNebraska.org, then clicking on Permits, and then Remaining Permits.
