Here is what has been happening lately with our Youth Fishing Program.

If you need to see a copy of the .pdf of that newsletter here it is, fall 2014 Newsletter .

Now, I fully realize that I am recycling something that some of you may have seen already.  If you are one of our certified fishing instructors, you have already seen the newsletter.  Sorry, but one reason I like to post these newsletters in my blog is to again say “THANK YOU” to all of our youth fishing volunteers!  We could not accomplish this without you!

Another reason I copy and paste the newsletter here is to keep everyone else notified about everything our Youth Fishing Program is accomplishing.  In doing that, I hope I might prompt some of you to become interested in the program and become a volunteer yourself.

I sat on this long enough that I noticed one event mentioned in the newsletter has already occurred.  However, I recently saw some feedback on that event, Cops And Bobbers, in Omaha.  You should take a minute and read this letter to the editor that ran in the Omaha World Herald, “Cops and Bobbers” Program Promotes Respect, Not Fear .

WOW!

It IS much more than just fishing!

One last reminder, do not forget about these events yet this fall!  Two of them are being held tonight, and the last two on Thursday.
