Talkin’ Trout on TV

Pan-sized rainbow trout stockings for fall and winter trout fishing come front and center on my live Weekly Outdoor Report, Thursday at 6 p.m. CST  during the sportscast with Greg Ortiz on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News. In northwest Omaha,  Standing Bear Lake at 138th & Fort Street already has received 7,000 of these hearty 10-inch rainbow trout!

You can get information on the trout stockings in advance of the broadcast on Daryl Bauer’s Barbs and Backlashes blog. On my report, I’ll be giving you and your kids tips on how to catch the trout. Don’t miss it!
