Residents May Enter Nebraska Super Tag Lottery

LINCOLN, Neb. – Beginning April 15, Nebraska hunters may enter the Nebraska Super Tag Lottery for a chance to win a four-species permit.

A nonrefundable $25 lottery application fee will give hunters the opportunity to win a tag that is valid in 2013 and 2014 and has a bag limit of one elk of either sex, one deer of either sex, one antelope of either sex and two turkeys (only toms and bearded hens may be taken in the spring). Hunters who have drawn once-in-a-lifetime bull permits are eligible.

The application deadline is July 5. Each hunter is limited to one entry. Only Nebraska residents are eligible. The winner will be drawn later in July.

The winner will be able to hunt with any legal weapon in any open hunting unit during the general hunting season for each species.
