Happy (Dry) New Year – The Prairie Ecologist

It’s hard to know what 2013 will bring for moisture, though the snow on the ground now is a good start.  Although 2013 was as dry as we’ve ever seen (at least in some places) it was just a single year.  Prairies have survived decades of drought before, so they’ll be just fine.  Probably.
