Prescribed burns scheduled on public areas across state

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will conduct prescribed burns on wildlife management areas (WMA), state recreation areas (SRA) and state parks (SP) when conditions are favorable through April 30, according to Pat Molini, assistant administrator of the Wildlife Division. LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will release rooster pheasants at 14 wildlife management areas in time for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Moose Moved from North Platte to Wildlife Management Area

LINCOLN — Continued sightings of a moose within the city limits of North Platte have prompted Nebraska Game and Parks Commission officials to immobilize and relocate the moose to a wildlife management area.
