LINCOLN — Sample any of the more than 120 Nebraska wines while listening to local bands perform May 1-2 at the second annual Toast Nebraska Wine Festival at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. Choose from a 10k or 5k trail run on a scenic, naturally challenging back trail. There also is a 1-mile children’s fun run. The previous provider, Mahoney Grille, operated by Jeff and Emily Parker of Parker’s Smokehouse LLC, chose to not extend its contract option, ending services to the park effective Jan. 4, 2015.
