LINCOLN – The public is invited to join the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission for Northwest District Birding Day on June 4 at Merritt Reservoir State Recreation Area (SRA) in Cherry County. Birders will depart from the Cedar Bay boat ramp on the southeast side of the reservoir at 7 and 8:30 a.m. Group birding will continue until 11 a.m., but individuals may extend their birding into the afternoon.
