Lied Bridge to close temporarily for repairs

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lied Platte River Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that spans the Platte River near South Bend, will temporarily close for repairs at the end of May. The Sarpy County side of the bridge will close beginning May 31 for pavement and abutment repairs. Construction is expected to last about a month.
