LINCOLN, Neb. – Tickets go on sale Sept. 15 for the Haunted Trail, a family Halloween event Oct. 21 at Branched Oak State Recreation Area. The Haunted Trail is a spooky 1,000-foot walk along a trail through hilly terrain and a wooded area. This will take place from 7-10 p.m. on the east end of Area 1. Today is Halloween.  I feel obligated to do a Halloween blog. Fishing kayaks have become very popular in the past few years.  I have not purchased one yet.  I am waiting for the fishing pumpkins thing to take off.
