LINCOLN, Neb. – The Family Fishing Night event scheduled for June 22 at Norfolk’s Skyview Lake has been canceled due to wet weather. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s final Family Fishing Night in Norfolk is scheduled for Aug. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Skyview Lake. Family Fishing Night in Broken Bow on Sept. 11

LINCOLN – Anglers, especially young and inexperienced ones, are invited to attend Family Fishing Night in Broken Bow on Sept. 11. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host the event from 6-8 p.m. at Melham Park Pond. The agency will stock the pond with 300 catchable-size channel catfish just prior to the event. LINCOLN, Neb. – A full schedule of Family Fishing Events has been scheduled for 2013 by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. These events give families and novice anglers the opportunity to try fishing in a fun, educational environment.
