Many people I know, perhaps you, think hunting Canada geese over decoys from a heated pit blind is a comfortable, easy thing to do in the out-of-doors. But, I’m here to tell you that it’s not! Spent an afternoon in the abyss of dense fog near the confluence of the Elkhorn and Platte Rivers yesterday in search of the mighty Canada goose. Decided not to put out any decoys or use the layout blinds because that fog was so thick.
