Big, Big Weekend

Like many of you, I am out the door for the long, Memorial Day weekend!  Time for a short blog post before I go. . . .

Fish are biting.  I know there will be a lot of folks “wet a line” this weekend, and they should!  I have often said that May and June are two of the best months for fishing open-water in Nebraska.  We are right in the middle of that now, a variety of species are active, they are feeding, they are very catchable.  Do not wait for someone to tell you they are biting, THEY ARE, NOW.  GO FISH!

I am sure, like me and mine, you are planning time with family and friends, feasts and picnics and hopefully lots of time outdoors!  Be careful, be patient, be respectful and remember this is a great country!  Take some time to consider what we are celebrating this weekend.
