The Beauty of Turkey Alley

Ever driven Douglas County’s Rainwood Road from 60th to 72nd Streets just beyond the northern fringe of Omaha? It’s cool! In fact, it’s one of my favorite drives in the metro area. See Spring Waterfowl Migration near Metro Area

If you live in or around the Omaha-metro area, you don’t have to travel very far to experience the spring migration of waterfowl. I took these shots today along the Elkhorn and Platte Rivers in western Douglas and Sarpy Counties. The rivers were busy places with ducks and geese here and there!
