Who doesn’t love to catch channel catfish in Nebraska waters this time of year, huh?

You may recall from a recent blog post by Daryl Bauer that bonus-sized, 4-pound channel catfish were just stocked in a couple locations around our area for your summer fishing.

So, I’ll be prodding you to step outside and fish for post-spawn, hungry channel catfish during the cooler parts of the day and offer some universal tips to help improve your catfishing success on my Weekly TV Outdoor Report!

It airs LIVE on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News Thursday at 6 p.m. CST during the station’s sportscast with me and either Ross Jernstrom or Jeff Packer. Tune in!
