You already may have seen that the 2026 Public Access Atlas is now available. If not, well, now you know!
Of course you can see the atlas on-line. Can also find hard copies at Game & Parks Commission offices, permit vendors and other places. I find these atlases to be extremely useful and keep a copy in my pickup at all times.
Yes, this atlas shows you where there is public land for hunting. However do not overlook the fact that it highlights public fishing waters as well. Especially note that Open Fields/Open Waters properties are listed including those that offer fishing access!
Get a copy and study it. There are some gems there!
