Want to call attention to something you may or may not know about. You likely are familiar with our annual Fishing Forecast. In addition to that, our fisheries biologists around the state each year put together summaries of fish population sampling they have done on a number of waters. Those summaries provide a little more detail and context than the annual Fishing Forecast. If you want to do your homework and figure out best spots, when fisheries are peaking, etc., you need to be studying those summaries.

You can find them here: Fish Sampling Reports

Will admit that it took longer to get some of the current reports posted. If you take the time to dig into them, you will see that our staff put extra time into developing some of those reports this year. Apologize for the delay, but believe you will like the product.

As always, if you have any questions, contact information is included in all of those reports or you can contact me, [email protected].

By the way, I study those reports, in depth. You better believe I plan my fishing accordingly, every year!
