The 2026 Fishing Guides are back from the printer. Those will be distributed to Game & Parks offices, bait shops, sporting goods stores and a variety of other outlets soon, as I write. When you spot them, you will notice something different:
The 2026 Fishing Guide is a larger format, 8 1/2″ X 11″. Yes, we changed things. No, I do not like change any more than the next person, but it was time to try something new.
We have added more and more content to the annual Fishing Guide over the years. To cram it all in, font sizes were reduced. With a larger format, we can include more content in fewer pages and make it easier to read!
Pick one up, see what you think. If you believe this format is too large to fit in your tackle box, well, you need a bigger tackle box!
