Recent cold weather should be making ice and it may be safe for ice fishing. However, anglers need to be sure it is safe!

Three ice fishing clinics have been scheduled in January. First one kicks off in Alliance this weekend, followed by Lincoln and Norfolk.

Calendar says the New Year is here. My New Year does not start until I am able to go ice fishing for the first time.

Now is the time when we wait on the ice to be thick enough for ice fishing. While waiting we can get gear ready and perhaps do some training.
