If you like the outdoors, you gotta love spring. I love all the seasons and will find something to do on the water or in the field every month of the year. Spring is especially challenging because there is so much to do and so little time. I often find myself wishing the calendar would advance just a little bit slower so I can listen to the turkeys gobble, pick mushrooms and catch fish more, longer.
Unfortunately, it does not work that way.
However, I have found that person can draw the season out a little longer by taking advantage of the diversity of Nebraska, the difference in climate and geography from one corner of the state to the other. Take a trip or two “out west” or “up north” in our state and you will often find the spring clock is just a little bit behind what it might be in the south and eastern parts.
Was getting ready to go out the door for work the other day (which just gets in the way this time of year) and glanced at the corner before I left. I smiled because the interior decorating there perfectly reflects the season and everything I love about it.

Get out the door and enjoy some more of it this weekend! I will!
