Mentioned earlier this week that I am hearing a few reports of anglers getting on the ice in Nebraska. Not sure how many more are going to be doing that with the weather we are forecast to have this weekend.
However, I do know this: It is that time when I am eagerly looking forward to the first ice fishing trip of the year! Come on cold weather!
Until then, it is time to start playing with the gear to make sure it is all ready. Might be time to do some pre-season training as well (especially if you like running tip-ups). Ha.
Hope you get a chance to get on the water or in the field this weekend. If you are venturing onto the ice, make sure it is safe! (Ice Safety)
