Actually have been on the water quite a bit in the past few weeks. It has been a typical early spring, insane weather changes, cold water and tough fishing much of the time, but some action from some great fish. There will be more to come.
For now, I am transitioning into the distracted portion of spring–the period when gobbling birds and other springtime pursuits distract me from time on the water. You can be sure I will be outdoors doing something every minute I can in the next few weeks. Will keep you posted.
In the meantime, I try to take a bunch of photos when I am in the field and on the water. Many of them get posted here on my blog. A few of them I just do not quite know what to do with. For a variety of reasons, I believe it is appropriate to post one of those here today:
Turkeys are gobbling, fish are biting, forget about everything else and have a great weekend!
