Nebraska is blessed with many miles of rivers and streams. Many of these flowing waters are relatively small, but they are important fisheries, nonetheless. Unfortunately, there are lots of barriers to fish movements on these small waters.

Recently, there was an article written by Eric Fowler in Nebraskaland that called attention to this challenge and some things that are being done about it. I want to call attention to that article and suggest you take some time to read it.
