Was just looking around the interwebs this morning and saw this posted: If you are in the Lewis and Clark Reservoir area, you will want to know that there are some periodic road closures across Gavins Point Dam. You can keep up on those updates on FaceBook, USACE Omaha District – Gavins Point Dam/Lewis & Clark Visitor Center .
Some of the current work is being done to clean intake gates. They need to clean the invasive zebra mussels off of them. You should take a look at the photos they posted! There is an unbelievable amount of zebra mussels on those gates!
That is a good reminder. . .
