Reluctantly walking into the office one morning this week, I commented that the whole week should have been a paid holiday. Most would agree that our weather this week has been spectacular! Yes, we surely need rain, but we have had cool mornings, warm afternoons and if you can believe it, there has been NO WIND.
To be sure, I have spent as much time as possible this week with turkeys, mushrooms, crappies and walleyes! Thing is, it just has not been enough!
Hopefully, you have been able to do the same and hopefully you are planning more of that this weekend!
I doubt any one needs to lighten up on this Friday going into the weekend. In case you do:
OK, I will admit, that video has absolutely nothing to do with fish, fishing or Nebraska. However, you will note they were on a dock, and obviously they had lines in the water. Also obvious was that the fish were NOT biting and had not been biting for quite some time. The quality of the jokes tells you that.
By the way, if you need more therapy, you can spend more time watching and listening to those groaners, Dock Tok videos.
Better yet, get on the water or in the field. NOW!
