LINCOLN, Neb. – The annual Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop, sponsored by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, gives women the opportunity to learn outdoor skills in a comfortable environment. Christmas Bird Count at Ponca State Park set for Dec. 14

LINCOLN, Neb. – Bird-watchers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the annual Christmas Bird Count at Ponca State Park on Dec. 14. Members of the Loess Hills Audubon Society will assist guests and birders in reporting sightings and comparing notes. These free programs, hosted by Bowfishers of Nebraska, allow youth to explore the challenge and excitement of harvesting fish with archery gear.
