Nebraska Has Abundant Deer Hunting Opportunities in 2015

LINCOLN – Plenty of deer hunting opportunities are available this fall for Nebraska big game hunters. Archers have been in the field since the start of September and rifle hunters are preparing for the Nov. 14–22 firearm season. Permits still remain in 38 of the 53 deer permit types. Spring Turkey Permits Available Jan. 14

LINCOLN, Neb. – Spring turkey hunting permits for 2013 will be available from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission starting at 1 p.m. Central Time on Jan. 14. Each spring turkey permit allows a hunter to take one male or bearded female turkey with bow and arrow in the archery season or a shotgun in the shotgun season.
