Outdoor Education Center Archery Ranges Closed to Public July 18-20

LINCOLN – The indoor and outdoor archery ranges at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Outdoor Education Center will be closed to the public July 18-20. The facility will host the Cornhusker State Games archery tournament on those days. Otherwise, the public may use the indoor facilities Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from noon-8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. The outdoor archery range otherwise is open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Outdoor Archery Range No Longer Accessible from 48th Street

LINCOLN – Beginning April 1, the outdoor archery range at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Outdoor Education Center will no longer be accessible from the private drive through Lincoln Trap and Skeet off of 48th Street. After April 1, the range will be accessible only from the entrance to the Outdoor Education Center at 44th and Superior streets.
