Fishing 101

Got a basic fishing workshop coming up this week.  It will be held at the Outdoor Education Center on Superior Street here in Lincoln.  The workshop will be free, but space is available, the folks at the education center ask that you REGISTER. The workshop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Now, I could talk for two days on “Basic Fishing”, so I know now there will not be enough time to cover everything.  However, what I try to …

Several Family Fishing Fundamentals Courses Cancelled at SCC

LINCOLN – Southeast Community College’s family Fishing Fundamentals course has been cancelled in Auburn, York, Plattsmouth and Nebraska City; however, the Lincoln classes remain on the schedule. The college is offering the course to provide anglers with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to begin fishing. The Lincoln class will meet Tuesdays in April from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, 301 S. 68th St. Place. The course includes three classroom sessions and a guided …
