LINCOLN, Neb. – Enjoy a day of history and food July 15 at central Nebraska’s Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park. A Dutch oven cooking demonstration will begin at 10:30 a.m., with three recipes available to sample. Humanities Nebraska will host a 3 p.m. program by author Jeff Barnes on his latest book, “Nebraska’s Landmark Buildings.” The park is located 6 miles southeast of Burwell in Valley County. A vehicle park entry permit is required.
