The erosion at the base of the boat ramps has been repaired and rock riprap has been placed along both sides of the ramps to prevent future erosion. Boating access improvements at Riverview Marina State Recreation Area in Nebraska City and Brownville Riverside Park will begin March 13. Boat ramps at those areas will be closed until further notice so repairs can be made. Significant erosion, caused by water current and wave action, must be addressed before further damage occurs to these ramps. Riprap will be restored around the perimeter of the existing ramps and the dock at Riverview Marina will be refurbished. Repair work is expected to …
