Man Hospitalized in Branched Oak Boating Accident

LINCOLN – A Lincoln man was hospitalized with serious injuries to his chest and arm in a boating accident late Monday afternoon at Branched Oak Reservoir in Lancaster County. He was struck by the propeller of the boat in which he was riding. Kent Seevers, 26, of Lincoln, was a passenger seated in the front of a motorboat along with four other occupants. LINCOLN – Three Nebraska lakes have been recognized by the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) in the Top 100 Family-Friendly Places to Boat and Fish in the United States. Man Cited for Pawnee SRA Boating Incident

LINCOLN, Neb. – A citizen of the Ukraine was cited with negligent boat operation by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in connection with an incident at Pawnee State Recreation Area on Aug. 7. Valentyn Siny, 37, was operating a personal watercraft that collided with two females on separate tubes being pulled by a boat.
