Louisville SRA electric campsites to get upgrade

LINCOLN, Neb. — Louisville State Recreation Area campground is getting an electrical upgrade, causing potential electrical campsite closures into November.

The update is being made to 27 sites in the Cut-Through Campground and Venture Lane Campsites so each will be available for 50-, 30- and 20-amp service. The upgrade is expected be completed by early November.

The Cass County park still has many campsites available as it moves into non-reservation, first-come, first-served status starting Oct. 19. Reservations for Louisville will resume in mid-April 2021.

Visit the park or call 402-234-6855 to check campsite availability. An entry permit is required for each motorized vehicle entering the park and can be purchased at park office or at OutdoorNebraska.org.
