Access road to Dead Timber SRA now open

LINCOLN, Neb. – Access to Dead Timber State Recreation Area (SRA) in Dodge County now is available via County Road B off U.S. Hwy. 275. The area’s electrical campsites are available, as well.

Dead Timber was damaged by the flooding of the Elkhorn River in March. Areas of the SRA remain walk-in only, and no vehicle traffic is allowed beyond any barricades.

A park entry permit is required.
