Feb. 3 – Birds and Binoculars, Eugene T. Mahoney State Park (SP), Ashland

Feb. 3 – Badger Day, Wildcat Hills Nature Center, Gering

Feb. 3-11 – White-fronted goose hunting season

Feb. 5 – Fisheries public informational meeting, Northeast Community College, Norfolk

Feb. 7 – Prescribed fire training workshop, Broken Bow

Feb. 9-10 – Valentine’s Package, Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area (SRA), Crofton

Feb. 10 – Pheasants Forever State Habitat Meeting, Kearney

Feb. 11 – Dark goose hunting season closes in East, Platte River, Panhandle and Niobrara units

Feb. 11 – Statewide light goose hunting season closes

Feb. 11-15 – Valentine’s Day Special, Eugene T. Mahoney SP, Ashland

Feb. 12 – Fisheries public informational meeting, Cobblestone Inn, Ord

Feb. 12 – Light Goose Conservation Order hunting begins

Feb. 14 – Valentine’s Dining, Platte River SP, Louisville

Feb. 16-17 – Birds and Breakfast, Ponca SP, Ponca

Feb. 20 – Fisheries public informational meeting, Community Building, Red Willow County Fairgrounds, McCook

Feb. 20 – Fisheries public informational meeting, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Lincoln

Feb. 20 – Citizen science workshop, Educational Service Unit 7, Columbus

Feb. 22 – Fisheries public informational meeting, Papio-Missouri Natural Resources District, Omaha

Feb. 22-25 – Boat, Sports and Travel Show, CenturyLink Center, Omaha

Feb. 28 – Cottontail and jackrabbit hunting seasons close

Feb. 28 – Bobcat, raccoon, Virginia opossum, long-tailed weasel, mink, red fox, gray fox and badger hunting and trapping seasons close
