Ice Fishing Clinics

Just this morning I had a gentleman ask me questions about getting started ice-fishing.  I had an easy answer for him!  Attend one of our Discover Ice Fishing Clinics!

The first of those for this winter is scheduled for this coming Saturday, Jan. 14, at Lake Wanahoo just north of the town of Wahoo.  We will “set up shop” there at the main boat ramp on the west side of the reservoir and will be there from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  At this point it looks like we will have plenty of safe ice, “It’s ON!”  Don’t forget your fishing and park permits.

There will be lots of hardcore ice anglers there to help you with any questions you might have.  Wait, come to think of it, we will not just help you, we will show you!  There will be ice fishing rods and bait available, holes will be drilled, fish will be caught, lies will be told, come on out and find out why ice-fishing is the best way to spend your winter!
