LINCOLN – Enjoy hands-on presentations and workshops on outdoor recreation and wildlife at Ponca State Park (SP) Aug. 27.

Introductory courses on archery and shotguns will be offered, with all equipment provided. Participants can also see, touch and sometimes smell live critters, furs, feathers and shells at the Critter Corner. Stop by the Sneaky Snakes presentation to touch and learn more about Nebraska’s snakes, and take a hayrack park tour to learn everything you’d like to know about Ponca SP.

A park permit is required of each vehicle entering the park. Fees apply to some activities.
