Preview of Firearm Deer Season on WOWT 6 Outdoors

I’ll be offering a quick preview of Nebraska’s popular firearm deer hunting season (which opens Saturday, Nov. 15th) on my WOWT 6 News outdoor segment. The season looks promising!

There have already been some nice white-tailed deer bucks taken during the archery deer hunting season such as this one by Tanner Podraza of Columbus, NE.

 I’ll also be giving you a few fast tips on staying warm if time allows.
My Weekly Outdoor Report airs LIVE Thursday evening on the station’s  6 p.m. CST newscast during sports.

Remember, if you are unable to view the live broadcast of the outdoor report, several other options are available to see it. Video replays of the report can also be seen after the initial cast here. Plus, the report can also be accessed on Digital Channel 6.2 and Cox Cable Channel 120. In addition, WOWT 6 runs The Weekly Outdoor Report on Saturdays later in the station’s hour-long 8 a.m. CST newscast.
