Game and Parks Partners with World-Herald for Outdoors Website

LINCOLN – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has partnered with the Omaha World-Herald to create a new website on all things related to outdoor Nebraska – GoOutdoorsNE.com.

The site features a mix of outdoor-related content from Game and Parks, NEBRASKAland Magazine and World-Herald staff, including the latest interactive digital edition of NEBRASKAland, as well as news alerts, social media updates, access to outdoor forums, trophy board for hunters, photo galleries, videos, links and more. Content is updated daily.

“GoOutdoorsNE.com will make it easier for outdoor enthusiasts to find the information they need for participating in outdoor recreation,” Game and Parks communications director Christy Rasmussen said. “The site will also be a new way to deliver agency news, messages, blogs and promotions to a broader audience than we are able to do alone. With the World-Herald partnership, we are able to leverage the newspaper’s expansive media network, which includes a large coverage area and sister publications in Scottsbluff, North Platte, Kearney, Grand Island and York.”
