Game and Parks to host Learn to Hunt workshops

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host Learn to Hunt workshops this fall to help individuals prepare for upcoming hunting seasons. These workshops are designed to improve confidence and expand knowledge for those with little or no experience. Presenters will discuss strategies, equipment, biology and techniques. Butterfly survey citizen science training opportunities available

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will be host two citizen science trainings in June to prepare volunteers to assist with the Monarch and Regal Fritillary Surveys project. This workshop is for anyone interested in completing transect surveys looking for monarch and regal butterflies between June 15 and July 15, 2019. Arapahoe habitat tour to focus on cover crops

LINCOLN, Neb. – The public is invited to attend a free workshop on the use of cover crops Aug. 21 in Arapahoe. LINCOLN, Neb. – Participate in a free workshop on brush removal and mulching July 26 near Branched Oak State Recreation Area.
