Game and Parks open for customer service Nov. 10

LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Game and Parks Commission customer service offices will be open on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 10. That also is the day before the nine-day firearm deer season opens. That means hunters will be able to purchase permits at Game and Parks offices in Lincoln, Omaha, Norfolk, Kearney, North Platte, Alliance, Bassett and at the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium. Game and Parks to sell permits on Veterans Day

LINCOLN – Hunters will be able to buy firearm deer permits at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission offices on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. The November firearm deer season is Nov. 12-20. Customer service will be available to sell permits at the following Game and Parks offices: Lincoln headquarters; district offices in Alliance, Norfolk and North Platte; service centers in Bassett and Kearney; Omaha office; and Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium. Game and Parks Offices Will Close on Upcoming Holidays

LINCOLN – All Nebraska Game and Parks Commission offices will be closed Oct. 13 for Columbus Day and Nov. 11 for Veterans Day. The closures include Game and Parks headquarters in Lincoln, district offices in Norfolk, North Platte and Alliance, service centers in Bassett and Kearney, Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium and the Omaha office. The Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center in Lincoln will be open on both holidays.

Game and Parks Offices Closed for Veterans Day

LINCOLN – Nebraska Game and Parks Commission offices – except for the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium near Gretna – will be closed Monday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The aquarium is located at 21502 W. Neb. Hwy. 31. Game and Parks offices in Lincoln, Omaha, Norfolk, Kearney, North Platte, Alliance and Bassett will be closed but will reopen Nov. 12.
