Deadline for multispecies lottery permit applications is July 3

LINCOLN, Neb. – Hunters have until July 3 to apply for a 2020-2021 multispecies lottery permit. Two types of permits are available: Super Tag and Combo. The Super Tag permit is valid in 2020 and 2021 for one elk of either sex, one antelope of either sex, one deer of either sex, and two turkeys (only toms and bearded hens may be taken in the spring). Public may rent hunting equipment at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. – Hunting equipment now is available for rent by the public at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Outdoor Adventure Center. Rental has been offered to the university’s students for about a year, and recently expanded to allow the public to rent the equipment, too. Commission to consider deer, antelope and elk hunting recommendations

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will consider recommendations for 2019 deer, antelope and elk hunting seasons when it meets April 24 at Ponca State Park.
