LINCOLN, Neb. – The mansion and barn at Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park in North Platte will be closed for the weekend, Aug. 21-22, because of a staffing shortage. The grounds of the historical park and adjacent state recreation area will remain open. NORTH PLATTE, Neb – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is reminding park visitors and area residents of the mandatory permitting process for tractors operating on the beaches of Lake McConaughy State Recreation Area (SRA).
