Game and Parks’ Kuhn Honored by State Park Directors

LINCOLN – Roger Kuhn, assistant director of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, was honored with a special award on Sept. 4 at the National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) annual meeting in Omaha. Kuhn, of Ashland, was recognized for his special, extended efforts and contributions that advance the general goals of the NASPD. Included in Kuhn’s 30-plus-year career with Game and Parks are more than 20 years served as parks administrator. Under his leadership, the parks division progressed …

Swenson Named Parks Administrator at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission

LINCOLN – Jim Swenson has been named administrator of parks at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. He succeeds Roger Kuhn, who was promoted to assistant director for development in May. Swenson’s new position is effective immediately. “We are very pleased to name Jim Swenson to the position of parks administrator,” said Director Jim Douglas. “Jim is a very dedicated person who has served Game and Parks and our citizens with the utmost professionalism.
