LINCOLN, Neb. – With the Nebraska firearm deer season just around the corner, now is the time to sight in that rifle or handgun. Sight-in range at Killdeer to temporarily close

LINCOLN, Neb. — The rifle sight-in range at Killdeer Wildlife Management Area in Lancaster County will briefly close sometime between Aug. 16 and Sept. 1 for a fence project. A new fence will be installed along the perimeter of the WMA during that timeframe, weather depending. LINCOLN, Neb. – A firearm sight-in range is being built at Killdeer Wildlife Management Area in Lancaster County. It is designed as a safe, user-friendly facility to allow hunters an opportunity to sight-in a rifle or handgun. The range will be 100 yards in length.
