Game and Parks’ Kuhn Honored by State Park Directors

LINCOLN – Roger Kuhn, assistant director of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, was honored with a special award on Sept. 4 at the National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) annual meeting in Omaha. Kuhn, of Ashland, was recognized for his special, extended efforts and contributions that advance the general goals of the NASPD. A Mega Meeting

Yesterday, we had one our Southeast Regional/District Mega Meetings of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission at Platte River State Park’s Mallet Lodge near Louisville. Monthly meetings (some with work integration) are held within each of the four districts the agency has. The mega meeting is held twice a year in the Commission’s Southeast District where all Game and Parks Commission staffers within or even outside of the region come to hear presentations on cutting edge, timely topics, get updates …
