Portions of Northwest 126th Street on the west side of the lake will be closed beginning June 12 while a culvert is replaced. Construction is expected to take approximately one week. LINCOLN – Mormon Island State Recreation Area (SRA) south of Grand Island cannot be accessed via Exit 312 on eastbound Interstate 80 due to construction. The westbound exit is open, however. According to the Nebraska Department of Roads, the eastbound exit ramp will be closed for road construction for three weeks.
